Through this period of angst and depression came many of his original ideas that there were acne triggers later to be identified as hormonal flux, cortisol levels, and stress. With limited options for acne treatment in the 50s, he was forced to research and create his own.
But it wasn't until he stumbled upon the mysterious world of enzymes that he began his long journey of discovery that spanned decades. He is considered one of the pioneers of the industry and has worked with numerous experts to remain on the cutting edge of Aesthetics science. Beyond his genius for creating world-renowned formulations and treatment concepts, his willingness to share his knowledge through countless articles, lectures, and media appearances has truly established Danné Montague-King as a true industry legend.

A DMK Fundamental Treatment begins with a deep cleanse to rid your pores of dirt and cellular debris. The Remove process is further enhanced through the use of an exfoliating thermal gel that increases oxygenation to the tissues.
Your therapist at Shirley’s will then pre-treat the skin with a powdered vitamin c serum to kick-start collagen production. This allows the amino acids in our signature enzyme masque to Rebuild. The ingredients penetrate way beyond the surface to restore structural integrity and revitalise your skin at a cellular level.
Your treatment concludes then with a relaxing hand & arm massage and your therapist will then prescribe a personalised programme for your skin to Protect & Maintain your newly revised skin.

Known by DMK devotees as the 'Game of Thrones' facial, this treatment oxygenates, detoxifies and revises the skin to function as a young, healthy skin does. Utilising the beneficial effects of transfer messenger enzymes, it encourages blood circulation, oxygenation and the lymphatic drainage system while simultaneously, through reverse osmosis, helping flush away toxins and free radicals whilst stimulating collagen production. Formulated to be the basis of all DMK Skin Revision treatments to enhance optimal skin function, Enzyme Therapy works to create long-lasting results.
The enzyme mask sets very hard and a pulsating effect can be felt - this is the blood and lymph being pumped through the skin!
Our Enzyme Treatment takes 90 minutes, the enzyme is left to set for 45 minutes. Post treatment, a plasmatic effect can be seen (some skins take a few treatments to be visible) and will go down within 20 minutes The downward pressure of the mask stimulates the circulatory system to pump fresh oxygenated blood throughout the capillaries, dilating them and creating what we call the Plasmatic Effect (some skins may take a few minutes to be visible). Its antibacterial ingredients effectively help flush stagnant capillaries, working on vascularity in the skin, rosacea and inflamed acne. The aim is to lower the pH of the skin and remove crusty dead skin cells. It is very beneficial for congested & breakout prone skin and it is also safe for clients with sensitive skin.
DMK signature Pro APLHA & Enzyme treatment - €140
Pro Alpha is designed to hydrolyse dead cell material, drawing all the free water levels up to the surface of the skin dislodging any underlying blockages and pushing sebum plugs to the surface in the skin. It combines Lactic, Glycolic, Mandelic and Citric Acid - which is your dermal hydrator to deeply exfoliate and hydrate the skin. Ideal for clients who are suffering from pigmentation, blocked pores and fine lines.

Your prozyme is made of papian and papaya enzymes. PROZYME is really a disincrusting formula designed to digest dead skin cells and to assist in decongesting dead cells that may be impacted in the pores around the hair follicles.
